Freepik is seeking creative talent for ‘Neighborhood Design San Francisco’ to give local neighborhoods a fresh vibe

Freepik has officially landed in San Francisco. Originally headquartered in Spain, Freepik is on the lookout for up-and-coming designers to join its groundbreaking and creative “Neighborhood Design San Francisco” project. This initiative is all about revitalizing various businesses in an iconic neighborhood through some fresh designs.

This call for designers is for those in their final year or who’ve recently graduated (within the last 24 months) in design or graphic design and wish to make a social impact. This initiative will take place between March and April. Selected designers will get financial compensation for their efforts and the chance to showcase their talent – both to the local scene and on a global stage thanks to Freepik’s wide reach – by giving several businesses in the San Francisco neighborhood a branding refresh.

Additionally, they will receive exclusive mentorship from Freepik designers to take on this challenge with greater autonomy, and their work – which will involve visually reinventing the image of the businesses – will be projected internationally, as it will be part of a “video-case” presented at advertising awards.

To be selected, any designer must fill out this form with their personal information and portfolio and wait to be one of the designers who will be part of Neighborhood. The call for entries is open until February 29th.
